Just a little, neatly-wrapped round-up of some of my favorite blog posts this week. Wishing you happy reading and a fantastic weekend!
- If you’re reading this, there’s a good possibility you’re a blogger, are thinking about blogging or are thinking about thinking about blogging (follow? I don’t.) Anywho, two generous ladies shared their respective self-designed blogging planners. Both are well-designed, comprehensive and adorable. Check these out and be inspired: Mama Jenn’s free blog planner, and Homeschool Creations free blog planner
- In Old Books for New Inspiration, Ruth over at The Better Mom challenges her readers to shelve our pop-culture, up-to-the-minute parenting and self-help books and pick up a classic. She asserts that, while modern is good, there’s much that can be gleaned from great minds throughout history. I admit, sometimes I assume newer is better. But then I remember that, “Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.” I think I’ll start with C.S. Lewis. You?
- In DIY (ish) Pillow Cover, The Nester creates her own herringbone-stenciled pillow cover for $5.60. If you haven’t met The Nester, and you’re at all interested in home decorating (and you’re creative/craft-challenged, like me), you may want to check her site. Her slogan? “It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.” FINALLY, someone brave enough to say it out loud.
There you have it. If you liked these, I’ll be back next week with more goodies.
